The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s free Money Smart financial education curriculum is designed to help low- and moderate-income individuals enhance their money management skills, understand basic mainstream financial services, avoid financial pitfalls and build financial confidence to use banking services effectively. More than 2 million people have been reached by Money SmartThe curriculum is available in an instructor-led version for those seeking to teach adults and an instructor-led version for those teaching youth (ages 12-21). A computer-based instruction version is also available for individuals to complete independently. Money Smart is an award-winning curriculum available in six languages that can bring proven results.
